A Decade of Trading: The Story of BLKK

I decided to share this story with you so you can understand that BLKK isn’t just another marketplace. We are a buyer and seller of items we know inside and out, thanks to more than 10 years of experience in a world of skins. With a strong community behind us, we have transformed "making transactions" into something truly special.

BLKK came from the love of Counter-Strike and its skins, the hunt for better combinations, and the grind through inventory tiers. Over time, that personal passion evolved into something larger. Now, BLKK stands as a trusted name in the CS trading world. Not because it was designed that way, but because it earned its place. When you trade with us, you're not just using another marketplace. You are connecting with someone who sees the real value in your skins, someone who gets why they matter to you.

It started in 2010 with a passion for gaming and a love for digital collectibles. My journey began with a fascination for in-game items, particularly those that stood out for their rarity and unique designs. And yes, Team Fortress 2 made me do it. Like many new traders, I faced setbacks. A phishing scam wiped out my inventory, leaving me back at square one. Instead of quitting, I took it as a challenge. It pushed me deeper into the mechanics of trading like learning how to spot value and build trust within the community.

The turning point came in 2013 when Valve introduced skins. Growing up playing CS 1.6 and CS Source, I was already hooked on the gameplay, and CS:GO only took that love to the next level. When skins were introduced, they added something new to the experience. I loved the game, but now there was a whole new layer to it. Skins became a part of the experience, something to collect and appreciate. It was the perfect mix of passion for the game and a whole new world to explore.

Over the years, the hobby evolved, and I evolved with it. Eventually, this led me to launch the BLKK Lab project.
